Thoughts are Things
The second Sutra says that yoga is the restraint of the mind. If the restraint of the mental modifications is achieved, one has reached the goal of Yoga. The entire outside world is based on our thoughts and mental projections. If we control our mind, we control everything.
If we take dominion of your mind, we have choices about our thoughts and emotions. We can choose to think affirmative thoughts that lift our energy and make us feel good. We can practice affirmations that build the habit of thinking energy-giving thoughts that let us feel good. We can change the mental habit of thinking we’re unworthy or unfit. Once we do that, our mind can rest because it has arrived at the truth. It is no longer entertaining the conflicted thoughts of unworthiness. The mind can rest.
